Finally got a DX3R from my local hobby shop. First impression is that this thing is crazy light. It has a crazy full fun filled menu, and I can’t even test it. I hooked up the puny little receiver, the thing is about 5 times smaller than the stock traxxas one, and I had to put foam padding just to make it stay. The DX3R cost me about 320 bucks, but I bet it would be worth every cent.

Enough of me ranting, I’m sure you want to see for yourself!

Rewind back two weeks, I’m the dumb guy sitting at home, looking at my new stampede vxl. Only two hours ago, I had the pleasure of unboxing this beast, now it’s broken steering block lay in my hands.

After spending about 140 bucks on new aluminum stampede hopups from STRC, the thing is ready to roll. I take the beast out, bash around for a bit, and hell breaks loose.

Perhaps its because it got too hot, or something, but the bullet plated velineon motor wires came loose off the v3s. I sent the goddamn thing to traxxas, but still haven’t gotten it back yet. So now, I have this beast sitting, waiting…

(Since this is my first post, I don’t have most of the pictures to comment on as I go, later on it will be much better)
